| There are some very positive aspects to compromise, like getting everyone to see different perspectives and points of view. Compromise allows people to listen and learn and come to mutual conclusions. But then there's a part of the word compromise that can be a bit uncomfortable - the frustration with compromise is when it's based on fear or desire. If one's motives aren't truthful or authentic then it's never a good thing.
